Who We Are

Our team

We're a Silicon Valley tech startup with a diverse combination of backgrounds including Dropbox, Facebook, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley Tech Banking as well as media & entertainment related entities like Getty Images, Viacom / MTV, WWE and a host of others. Across our team we have personally toured as musicians, developed geo-based search algorithms, engineered social commerce applications, managed award-winning creative talent, helped design interfaces used by hundreds of millions of people, composed songs for television and produced songs for film, booked events at a grass roots level and more. Why do we mention all that? Because we think it's important for you to know that our personal and professional shared experiences have allowed us to genuinely understand the problems Revd is trying to solve and to discover new ways to solve them.

There will be a time to list individual names, but as we're just launching our first events, we wanted to "run onto the field" as a team! And that team also includes you, because without the interest of fans, brands, venues and talent, Revd couldn't exist. We can't thank you all enough for your ideas, support and patience as we grow. We hope that we'll serve you well for years to come.

What we're about

Here are some things that are important to us as we think about a potential fit:

Thermostat colleagues, not thermometers
Thermometers read what's going on in the environment. Thermostats read what's going on in the environment and then change it.

Challenge conventional thinking
Just because it hasn't been done before doesn't mean it can't be done. There is no history of anything happening until it happens.

Yep, that's right. We put it right here on the page. Kindness, respect, openness and honesty come first with us.

We're looking for fearless, self-motivated people who see failure only as a short term step to long term success.

We want people who are confident enough to insert their opinion when it's informed, and ask questions when they're not informed.

We're looking for A+ players who are not willing to accept mediocrity as a Company and are competitive with themselves, not their teammates.

We want people who innately like to understand things and hate "not knowing."

Different work hats are needed at different times. None of us is above doing the work that is required to succeed.

We don't take ourselves too seriously. If you don't have a sense of humor, we'll give you one!
